Disconnect the micro SD Card reader from Linux Desktop machine.
Insert SD Card to the RPI Board
Then, use serial usb cable to connect the RPI board and Linux Desktop machine.
After connecting, check whether
/dev/ttyUSB0
created or not.
$ ls /dev/ttyUSB0
Run minicom to access RPI board
$ sudo minicom -D /dev/ttyUSB0 -b 115200
Power on rpi board
You should see the following output
